In planning this journey, it can be overwhelming and there are days when I wonder where or why I thought of it and then I sit quitely and it usually passes and my enthusiams is renewed by a message, kind word, post share, it can be anything at all.
The past few months have been challenging, there is no easy way to pass from one life into another without sadness and reflection. Add to this the grey days (a whole new 50 shades of grey!) in UK, while I'm waiting for some things to resolve and looking for a vehicle (my unicorn as I've come to call it) I am regularly struck by a severe itching to be somewhere sunnier and I miss many of my friends who are elsewhere.
And then, unexpectedly and joyfully the picture above came through to me from a dear friend and supporter in Luxembourg Monique and it was a message from her dear, and lovely daughter Amelié. It literally lit up my day and lifted my spirits that I had been the inspiration for the picture and her note below.
Who could not be inspired by such a lovely young girl. I can say that her Mother sets a wonderful example for her daughter as one of the most gracious and fair-minded people I have met.
I am now able to look forward to the day that I can invite Amelié and her mother Monique to visit me in Zimbabwe so that they may see wild and free elephants.
